Saint Anne Chapel
To the north of the chancel are two ancient chapels, dedicated to Our Lord, and St Anne. Over them is a priest's chamber with two windows into the chancel. The Parish School was held in these chapels for some 200 years, presided over by the Rector or Assistant Curate. The earliest mention of the school is in the Churchwarden's Accounts for 1666. These chapels are now used for weekday and early Sunday morning services. The registers, being held in the County Records Office, date from 1538, and the Church Plate from 1706.
